See ALPHONSE acting in the film THE DUKES along with Robert Davi (also the writer & director ), Chazz Palminteri, Peter Bognanovich, Melora Hardin, Elaine Hendrix, and many others. Alphonse also wrote two songs for this great new drama/comedy movie. Also see Alphonse acting in THAT THING YOU DO! with Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Liv Tyler, Charlize Theron and others. Tom Hank wrote and directed this great movie. ALPHONSE has a speaking role and is featured (during the Blue Spot Jazz Club scene) playing drums on a song he scored for the movie entitled THE BLUE SPOT. The acoustic piano solo off camera on THE BLUE SPOT was also performed by Alphonse Mouzon. MOUZON has a nice cameo with Katie Holmes and Micheal Keaton in THE DAUGHTER. You can see ALPHONSE behind keaton playing the flute in an orchestra. ALPHONSE also starred in an independent film called THE HIGH LIFE and also plays the trumpet in this great movie. MOUZON’s composition entitled “Bounce” can be heard on the Motion Picture Soundtrack for the film entitled “SPRUNG”. When he’s not on tour, Alphonse runs Tenacious Records and goes on Film & TV auditions with his son Alphonse Philippe. They are both members of Screen Actors Guild and attend AIA Actors Workshops. Alphonse’s 12 year old daughter Emma Alexandra Mouzon is a very talented young actress, drummer, pianist, guitarist, violinist and singer. EMMA sings back-up vocals on MOUZON’s new CDs and on her two brothers’ CDs by Alphonse Philippe Mouzon (aka LIL COOL) and Jean-Pierre Mouzon ( aka GRIZZLY). She has taken a Musical Theatre Workshop with Brenda Collins at A Cast of Kids and TV and Film Workshops with Belinda Balaski at BB’S KIDS when she was younger.
